School's Section 175 Audit Tools & Guidance

The new Safeguarding in Education audit for 2017/18 is now available online.

This will ask you for your details of your school. For Organisation you MUST use the DFE number for your school. Your email address will be your username. Below there is a user guide and technical specification for the webs access you will require to access the tool properly. Once you have registered you will receive an email with a password this may take up to 48 hours depending on when you register. For step-by-step instructions click here.

The safeguarding self-assessment is designed to help you as a school to develop your safeguarding practice within school. So please ensure where you have identified areas for improvement that you have an action to improve that area in your school.

The Local Authority have requested that schools complete the data section (section 12) of the tool twice a year to provide data on the work schools are carrying out with vulnerable children.
