Training Course Brochure September 2007 to July 2008
This training brochure has been designed to be readily accessible to
staff from all agencies.
The brochure outlines the multi-agency child
protection training programme for the financial year (2006-2007),
as agreed by Birmingham Safeguarding Children Board, (formerly the Area Child Protection Committee) and its Sub - Committees.
BSCB is committed to providing a comprehensive and effective training programme for all agencies.
The training programme aims to increase participants' knowledge and skills in the field of child
protection and improve working relationships between agencies, in order to promote high quality
service provision and better outcomes for children and young people.
The BSCB training brochure will be published and distributed on an annual basis and contents of the training programme will be revised according to the training priorities identified for that year.
The training courses aim to promote anti - discriminatory practice, and reflect cultural diversity and all courses should address these issues.
The training brochure is available here.
